Greentea Peng (Aria Wells) so called because she likes green tea and found one particularly good in Peru named Greentea Seng, and the woman on the box was really peng. Sun I need you / I’m only happy with you / No one lifts me like you do.” The moon also drives Peng mad, so she sings about her a lot too. ![]() The highlight was ‘Mr Sun’ (Miss Da Sun), a vibey, lo-fi track with captivating textures touching on human and elemental relationships. Tracks ‘Moonchild’ and ‘Medicine’ were infectious and ‘Sane’ with it’s blissful atmospherics and slick percussion, felt club-ready. ![]() And I can’t wait to see them collaborate one day.Īt Hootananny in Brixton, around this time last year, Greentea Peng played songs from her first EP ‘Sensi’ and her EP latest ‘Rising’. But I think there’s more similarities to be had with her contemporaries Jorja Smith, Ama Lou, Poppy Ajudha and IAMDDB. Some say she is similar to Amy Winehouse, because of her expressive contralto vocals and perceptive lyrics. She passes on this spiritual energy, helped by her eclectic influences – soul, R&B, reggae, psychedelia. Her songwriting has lyrical depth, and cosmic themes. Peng’s incredible band, she calls ‘Banana Clan’ combined with her sultry voice, was a trip. An evening spent inside the walls of the former Royal Palace of Whitehall – a historic site of anti-establishment unrest during the 16th Century was a perfect match for spiritual and rebellious, Greentea Peng. And what a gig it was, at one of the most interesting of all gig venues I have ever experienced – Banqueting House, just down the road from 10 Downing Street. PathologyĬortical buckle fractures occur when there is axial loading of a long bone. There has been a single case report of a torus fracture of the distal radius in an adult 9. In adults, the commonest form of torus fracture by far is a buckle fracture of the ribs. These type of fractures are more common in children, especially aged 5-10 years, due to the elasticity of their bones. Rarely, a torus fracture may refer to the fracture of an oral torus, and there is potential for the two terms to be confused 10. However, the terms are often used interchangeably. Strictly speaking, a torus fracture refers to a circumferential buckle fracture 7. ![]()
